Major: Air, Minor: Earth – Defender

“Our prime purpose in this life is to help others. And if you can't help them, at least don't hurt them.” - Dalai Lama

You’re the person who buys a case of Gatorade and brings it to your team’s practice, every time. No one thanks you. Just out of college, you get a job in a busy downtown office, working on a team that’s putting together a pitch to a difficult investor. Everyone grabs their coats and leaves right at five o’clock, but you stay late, writing and re-writing until the pitch is letter-perfect. No one thanks you. You never ask for credit, and you’re just happy the team is going to win. You might be a defender!

Others wait til the last minute and buy their significant others a cheap stuffed animal for Valentine’s Day. You rent a boat, cook a romantic dinner, and serve it by candlelight out on the water to your partner. Meanwhile, fireworks pop and echo high overhead, set off by the guy back on shore that you hired to complete this masterpiece of a romantic date.

You’re the backbone of society, the kind of person we all rely on. Never stop being you. Always remember to work on expressing yourself, though. You have a tendency to bottle things up inside.
